Rochester: Monday, July 8, 2019 at the age of 71. Predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Thelma Slate: brother-in-law, Norbert Haller. Survived by his wife, Rosemary; son, Anthony; sister, Judy Haller; mother-in-law, Constance Covello; sister-in-law, Regina Covello; nephews, David (Tina) and Michael (Amy) Haller. George was a USNavy veteran of the Vietnam era. The family would like to give a special thanks to the entire staff at VNS of Rochester and also Friendship 4 at MCH.

Friends are welcome Thursday 4-7pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. (just north of E. Ridge Rd.) George's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 9:30am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church. Interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Clayton, NY.
